Keys We offer original New Old Stock keys, stamped and code cut, for every year Corvette. You receive them on the orignal wire key rings. We also have ZR1 Power Keys available. Never, never, never shake a baby and never, never, Never remove the knock outs from your judging keys! 1953 - January 1963 One Key Cars, Two keys required for judging. These are large hole, No "R" keys. 1963 & 1964 One Key Cars, Two keys required for judging. These keys have the registration mark. 1965 & 1966 Two Key Cars, Four keys required for judging: 1967 & 1968 Two Key Cars, Four keys required for judging: 1969 & 1970 Two Key Cars, Except with Factory Alarm. These cars will require Six keys for judging. Alarm Locks: 1969 and early 1970 models used a Briggs & Stratton alarm on the rear of the car, with an H code lock cylinder. Your key head should be stamped "H" with three numbers (H123). Late model 1970 & up could have alarm locks in the rear or on the left front fender. These use the round key to match your storage compartment. 1971 - 1982 Two Key Cars, Four keys required for judging: 1983 There were no Corvettes produced. 1984 - 1985 Two Key Cars, Four keys required for judging. Rubber headed keys: 1986 - 1996 Two Key Cars, Four keys required for judging. V.A.T.S. keys. Gas Keys: Your key head should be stamped "A" with three numbers (A123). ZR1 Models require a Power Key. Spare Tire Locks 1963 Early models were a "no hole" casting painted chassis black, with a B1 casting and 3 dimples on the back. Late model 1963 & 1964 Small 1/4" drain hole, painted chassis black with a B1 casting and 3 dimples on the back. 1965 Early locks use a small 1/4" hole, painted chassis black with a B1 casting and 3 dimples on the back. Late model 1965 locks use a large 3/8" drain hole and are finished in a greenish brown with a B1 casting and 3 dimples on the back. 1966 Locks with a large 3/8" hole, a greenish brown finish with a B1 casting and 3 dimples on the back. 1967 - 1979 Large hole models have a greenish brown finish with a B1 casting and 3 dimples on the back. We have a selection of these restored locks. Call us for current pricing for your year. The "Boot" An original NOS spare tire boot is a flexible rubber sleeve with no visible seams or mold marks. Aftermarket boots are a blended black material with a visible manufacturing seam. They feel like plastic. 1964 and up spare tire locks included the boot. The early 1963 cars with no hole in the lock used no boot. The late 1963s with the 1/4" hole in the lock body did use the boot. The "Envelope" Originally a small white key envelope contained the second set of keys in the glove box of cars from 1967 through 1979. We can also provide an envelope with knurl marks on it for 1970, 1971 & 1972 models.
